Portland Trans Pride March

“Agitate and Celebrate!”

Saturday, July 20th

North Park Blocks at NW 8th and Burnside

Rally starts at 2:00 pm

March starts at 3:30 pm

Greater Portland Trans Unity has been organizing the Portland Trans Pride March since 2014. We’re excited to be in the streets again this year as we celebrate 10 years of agitating and celebrating with our trans community. Come march with us!

The pre-march rally will include trans speakers and performers on stage, as well as a diverse array of local organizations tabling around the park.

Accessibility: The park blocks where we hold our pre-march rally are accessible by sidewalk, with all tablers facing the sidewalks for ease of access. The stage is in the center and can be viewed from the sidewalks as well. ASL interpreters will be on hand for all speeches and performances. The march itself is roughly 0.6 miles long, and is led by two trucks with trailers for those who could use a ride.

Safety: We take the health and safety of our community seriously and have a solid team built up over the years to handle disturbances and threats. We work hard to ensure this space is warm, welcoming, and safe for the trans community to celebrate without fear.

Donations: We gratefully accept donations to support the Trans Pride March and other GPTU events.

Keep up with all news about the march, including speaker, performer, and tabler announcements and pre-march events, on Instagram at greaterportlandtransunity or Facebook at PortlandTransUnity. We can’t wait to march with you!
