Portland Pride Parade
The largest parade in Oregon, the Portland Pride Parade brings tens of thousands of people into downtown Portland. The parade is on Sunday of Portland Pride weekend in July.

The Portland Dyke March
The Portland Dyke March is a community event of celebration and demonstration. We welcome dykes of ALL identities and expressions. Volunteer-run and community driven, we march to show our pride and bring awareness to issues facing our community. We take to the streets on foot, armed with homemade signs, cheers of joy, and chants of protest. We demand rights and equity for all. Since 1994, the Portland Dyke March has sought to empower and amplify marginalized voices, and we carry that tradition with us in our demonstrations today.
BuzzCutt's First Annual Summer Fest: PDX's Alcohol-Free Pride Party
If you're looking for all of the contagious pride energy goodness you know and love, but without the alcohol, BuzzCutt's SUMMER FEST has you covered. We're back for the 2nd iteration of our booze-free bash - making it even bigger and better for 2024. This PDX Pride Weekend event will serve as THE Portland alcohol-free pride party. 💛🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

Portland Pride Waterfront Festival
Join us for the annual Portland Pride Waterfront Festival one of the largest donation-based LGBTQIA2S+ Pride events on the west coast, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to Portland each year. LGBTQIA2S+ people travel from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond to express their individuality and celebrate community in a safe, open environment.
The History of Black Drag in Portland
RACE TALKS: Uniting to Break the Chains of Racism is commemorating Pride and Juneteenth by celebrating our local Black Drag Queens. For the part three years we’ve hosted The History of Black Drag in Portland, an intersectional Pride and Juneteenth event that explores the history and contemporary experience of Black Drag in Portland, Oregon.

In celebration of Portland Pride, QDoc is presenting the Oregon Premiere of LADY LIKE! A captivating documentary of growth, discovery, and a deep love for performance, LADY LIKE shares the story of Lady Camden, the London-born, San Francisco-based Drag Queen who is catapulted into fame when she lands a spot on season 14 of Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

The 2nd Annual Craft Beer Pride Week Color Throw
Join Threshold Brewing on Saturday, June 22 at 4 p.m. for an explosion of every color under the sun! Wear something white or bright and we’ll fill up Threshold Brewing’s outdoor street plaza for an all-out color throw. Entry is free and open to all ages. Color powder packets provided with a suggested donation to Pride Northwest. The festivities will conclude with a celebratory parade around the Portland Montavilla neighborhood, showing off everyone’s amazing colors!
Race Talks: Black Drag PDX
Pride Northwest is proud to once again support Race Talks: Black Drag PDX this year! RACE TALKS: Uniting to Break the Chains of Racism, McMenamins History Department, Poison Waters and local Black drag queens, and sponsoring community partners are teaming up for a third year to present The History of Black Drag in Portland, an intersectional Pride and Juneteenth event that explores the history and contemporary experience of Black drag in Portland, Oregon.
This one-night event features an all-star panel of local drag queens followed by fabulous drag performances. We began this special forum in an effort to hold space for BIPOC folx in Portland during Pride; and close the gap of miseducation and intolerance between our BIPOC and QTBIPOC communities. In our first year, we emphasized QTBIPOC and BIPOC in-person attendance because there are few Pride events that are centered around Black and brown queer folx in Portland. Given the positive feedback we received from the past two years, and the heightened ignorance and attacks on the Black, Trans, and Drag communities throughout our country, we are continuing this annual celebratory event. Join us!

The 2024 Gay Prides of Portland Pageant is coming! On June 9, 2024, at the beautiful Melody Event Center contestants will show us their “Recipe for Success,” as they compete across the categories of Theme, Look, and Formal Wear with on stage Q&A by our hosts, and talent. Come and cheer on our youth and adult contestants, as they show us their passion and talent across the stage and down the runway!
